Used food equipment refers to various types of specialized machinery that, after being used, overhauled, or refurbished, can still be employed in food processing, production, packaging, and preservation.

Product Details

Used food equipment refers to professional production equipment that has already been put into use in food production, processing, packaging, preservation, and other links. After professional disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, component replacement, or complete refurbishment, it still meets food-grade hygiene and safety standards and can continue to operate stably. It is widely used in industries such as baking, beverages, meat products, dairy products, fruit and vegetable processing, seasonings, and convenience foods, covering the entire process from raw material handling, mixing, steaming, sterilization, filling, sealing, to freezing and refrigeration.

I. From a technical perspective, this type of equipment adopts different working mechanisms depending on its purpose:

  • Heat exchange equipment (sterilization pots, ovens, quick-freezing machines) achieves temperature control processing and preservation through steam, electric heating, and refrigerant circulation.
  • Fluid handling equipment (mixing tanks, filling machines) relies on centrifugal pumps, plunger pumps, and pneumatic control to complete material transportation and quantitative filling.
  • Molding and packaging equipment uses mechanical transmission, servo control, and photoelectric sensing to achieve automatic sealing, bag making, and metering.
  • In terms of hygiene and safety, 304/316L food-grade stainless steel is generally used, which is easy to clean, corrosion-resistant, and meets GMP food production standards.

II. In terms of performance and condition indicators, qualified used food equipment typically has:

  • The overall operating parameters can be restored to 85%~95% of the factory standard, with stable and compliant core indicators such as temperature control accuracy, filling accuracy, and speed capacity.
  • The parts in contact with food are free from rust, scratches, and residue, and can meet food production hygiene requirements after cleaning and disinfection.
  • The key components such as motors, sensors, PLC control systems, and seals have been inspected or replaced, with no faults such as electric leakage, leakage, or jamming.
  • The equipment’s capacity, applicable material range, working voltage, and size specifications are basically consistent with the original manufacturer, allowing direct connection to the production line for operation, thereby significantly reducing the enterprise’s initial equipment investment costs.
